Funding the EarthSeeds Art Intervention

When a particular aspect of the EarthSeeds art intervention has been identified and activated for realization, a specific budget will be published and a corresponding funding program initiated.

Art is one of the most expensive commodities in today's society and the EarthSeeds will be primarily funded through the sale of art. This "art funding" appraoch is being managed via the ArtFunding section of the GREATER.EARTH website.

As with previous art interventions, we plan to rely primarily on an art funding (crowdfunding) approach. Art works specific to the EarthSeeeds art intervention will be created and sold to people who want to support the project. Hopefully millions of people will want to support this and other Greater.Earth art interventions.

EarthSeed One

EarthSeed One is a minimal and symbolic work that is both a collage and a digital fine art print in which a seed has been placed in the center of the astronomical symbol of our planet – a globe bisected into four quarters by lines representing the equator and a meridian.

This Digital Fine Art Print is printed with an Epson Stylus Photo R2400 printer on natural handmade kahari paper which has been naturally colored using plant dyes and comes from the Himalaya, the highest point on planet Earth that is closest to space. The “seed” is from an edible plant.

Each print is hand-signed and dated by resident artist Arthur Woods.
